# Backups

> Backups copies your servers and computers to an encrypted off-site vault every day, without anyone pressing a button.

We are a UK‑based managed backup service that provides secure, automated off‑site backup and recovery for businesses and individuals. Using AES‑256 encryption, the platform continuously backs up critical data from servers and computers over the internet to an encrypted vault, ensuring protection in transit and at rest. The service requires no manual intervention, offers daily backups, and includes a 14‑day free trial. We aims to give peace of mind by safeguarding data against loss, ransomware, and disasters, with easy setup and a user‑controlled encryption key.

## On the home page

- Set it up once. Then forget it.: Add Backups to each server or computer you want protected. It takes a few minutes and runs quietly in the background.
- Only your key opens the vault.: You choose the encryption key. Without it, your backups are unreadable, to thieves and to us.
- Ransomware on Wednesday? Go back to Tuesday.: Your off-site copies sit out of reach of whatever hit your office, whether that is encrypted files, a flood or a failed disk. Restore from the last clean night and carry on.
- Try it free for 14 days.: For a business with servers, or one person with one laptop. Back up your real data and see your first restore points arrive.
- Frequently asked questions: You do. You choose the key during setup, and your data is encrypted with AES-256 before it leaves your machine. Keep the key somewhere safe: without it, the backups can't be read.
- Start your free trial: Tell us what you'd like to protect, such as two office servers or a home laptop, and we'll reply with your trial setup.
